This week had feelings too...

As cheesy as it sounds, I like writing about my feelings. So if you don't want a mushy schpeel about a budding romance - read on.
This huge problem with AIDS in Africa really hit me. Kay Warren talked about being an Advocate for for them and when she was speaking on the subject, she showed a video that revealed what is like to talk and mingle with those who are suffering from AIDS. But in the video there were some children who were playing with their father who has AIDS. Then the voice on the video simply said "These children have AIDS... but they don't know it."
I couldn't believe it. They were going to die as young adults and could do nothing about it. Nothing. I decided at that moment that I had to get involved. Those kids need to know they are loved and never have to be alone. I WANT to be there. I NEED to tell them that Christ is always with them.

I have recently discovered the beauty of Sleeping Aid. This little capsule contains a beautiful nights' rest. I popped 2 of these and I must say I woke up more refreshed and ready than I had in a very long time. I have heard that they can become a bit addictive, and that you don't get a REM cycle, so I wouldn't suggest making this a habit... But if there is a lot of stuff on your mind or maybe you are a bit over excited for tomorrow - cuddle up with 2 of these teddy bears, and your eyes will be plesantly closed until your alarm clock rings. AAhhhh, the beauty of sleep.

Big things Big Times

Humor is a necessary commodity in today's society. My little brother recently informed me about a posting site called MyLifeIsAverage.com. You may have already heard of the (my I say, raunchy) site referred to as FML (f*** my life). My life is average is the contrast to this site where people post awesome little things that happen to them throughout the day. And they will keep you laughing! If you get addicted, or so I have heard :) you will begin to see a thread of references to ninjas, Harry Potter and a passionate slamming on Hannah Montana. This may just be the one thing you are looking for to brighten a gloomy day! So sit down with a cup of cocoa and enjoy!
